Surbhi Chandna-Sharad Malhotra's Naagin 5 to end in February, to be replaced by Ekta Kapoor's show on vampires?

Ekta Kapoor's Naagin 5 opened to a positive response. The show premiered on August 9, 2020, with Hina Khan, Mohit Malhotra and Dheeraj Dhoopar. They were replaced by Surbhi Chandna, Mohit Sehgal and Sharad Malhotra after a leap. The supernatural bi-weekly show though garnered attention for the sizzling chemistry between Surbhi and Sharad, failed to make a mark on the TRP chart. Now, according to a leading daily's report, Naagin 5 will go off air in February.

A source close to the show told the daily that the cast will shoot for the final episode by the end of this month. "Naagin 5 will go off air in February after a six-month run. The date is not yet final. The team is already aware of the development. The last episode will be shot by the end of this month," the source told.

According to the buzz, Naagin 5 will be replaced by another show in the supernatural genre. Reportedly, it will be produced by Ekta and will be about vampires. In the past, Ekta made a show on the same topic. Titled Pyaar Kii Yeh Ek Kahaani, it featured Vivian Dsena as a vampire and Sukirti Khandpal as his ladylove.
