On December 12, Sidharth Shukla celebrated his 40th birthday with his friends and family. However, the celebrations were marred by a viral video doing the rounds of the internet where the actor was accused by a common man of drunk driving and hitting a guy. In the video, the Bigg Boss 13 winner can be seen clarifying why he hit the person and tells them that he and his family were attacked by goons carrying knives on their way back home.
The video has a man claiming that Sidharth has hit someone in a drunken state and the actor clarified to him that he was threatened with knives. However, a source clarified the entire fiasco and informed, “At wee hours in the morning Sidharth’s brother-in-law received a call from his staff regarding some goons to which both went to check on what was happening. When the two spotted them and tried to stop them, the men had knives in their hands and tried to threaten them (Sidharth is heard stating this in the video). Sidharth and his brother-in-law somehow managed to take them to a local police station and the men are behind bars now.”

The source further added, “Now looks like the video was created out of vengeance as who would walk into a police station drunk? The actor was sober which is obvious in the video as he logically replies back. As much as people may want to call Sidharth ‘controversy child’ we think it’s actually the other way around where some may try to create controversies involving him due to his popularity but eventually it backfires!”
Sidharth received a ton of wishes from his fans, colleagues and friends. Shehnaaz Gill also wished the actor on his birthday.
