Google's most-searched 2020: Sushant Singh Rajput to Disha Parmar, Rohanpreet Singh, Himanshi Khurana find a spot


2020 is about to end and it is time to look back at what happened in the last 12 months. Google, a popular search engine, released the list of the most searched celebrities and TV shows recently. From controversies to sharing some good news in a dull year, the list features the name of all the celebrities who made headlines. 

Sushant Singh Rajput's demise came across as a major blow to the entire industry. The 34-year-old late actor was one of the most searched celebrities this year. His unfortunate demise left Bollywood divided and started numerous controversies and theories around his suicide.

Disha Parmar, a television actress, made it to the list. The actress received her marriage proposal on national television. Rahul Vaidya, a singer, participated in Bigg Boss 14 and proposed to Disha on her 26th birthday on November 11. Though Disha was supporting Rahul on social media before his eviction, her answer to his proposal is yet to be made public. On the other hand, Rohanpreet Singh found a spot on the list. Rohanpreet married renowned singer Neha Kakkar in an intimate ceremony and took everyone by surprise. Once a lesser-known name, Rohanpreet became the talk of the town. 

Ekta Kapoor's name surfaced after Sushant's unfortunate demise. The producer was the one who launched the actor in her show Pavitra Rishta. Himanshi Khurana made headlines for hitting back at Kangana Ranaut's revolt against the ongoing farmers' protest. Himanshi extended her support to the protesting farmers and activists.
