After much delay, Akshay Kumar is all set to add a punch of fun, fear and loads of entertainment this Diwali with Laxmmi Bomb. Co-starring Kiara Advani in the lead, Laxmmi Bomb is directed by Raghava Lawrence who helmed and starred in the original Tamil language Muni 2: Kanchana. With less than a month left for its release, Akshay and the team of the horror-comedy finally kickstarted the promotion today. Keeping up with his tradition of opening the promotions with The Kapil Sharma Show, Akshay and Kiara made for a stunning couple.
Apart from Akshay and Kiara, transgender rights activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi marked her presence on The Kapil Sharma Show. Akshay, on his Instagram, shared a picture with Kiara and Laxminarayan. "Three’s not always a crowd! Team #LaxmmiBomb with the real Laxmi on sets of #TheKapilSharmaShow today!" Akshay wrote.
Laxmi Narayan, on the day of Laxmmi Bomb's trailer release, showered love on the film and Akshay. She tweeted, "What a Diwali dhamaaka @akshaykumar and @advani_kiara!! #laxmmibombtrailer dekh ke maza aa gaya! Shayad naam mein hi kuch khaas hai (I really enjoyed the trailer of Laxmmi Bomb! Maybe there is something special in the name)"
Akshay, today, released the first song from Laxmmi Bomb titled Burj Khalifa. The film is produced by Cape of Good Films, Fox Star Studios, Tusshar Kapoor and Shabina Khan. It will release on Disney+ Hotstar on November 9, 2020.
