After Bigg Boss 13 ended in February this year, finalist Asim Riaz is busy shooting for countless music videos. The Kashmiri model, in the past seven months, has starred in Kalla Sohna Nai, Mere Angne Mein, Khyaal Rakhya Kar, Tere Gali, Dil Ko Maine Di Kasam and Afsos Karoge. While the previous ones were decent and enjoyable attempts, the latest music video is a messed up one. Asim, on Instagram, released the teaser of his upcoming music video titled Badan Pe Sitare. Doesn't the name sound familiar? Well, it does.
Badan Pe Sitare featuring Asim with Sehnoor is the redux version of Shammi Kapoor and Vyjayanthimala's iconic song from the film Prince. The remake is sung by Stebin Ben and Sehnoor. With the teaser, it is sure that Badan Pe Sitare is a cliche party number with flashy neon disco lights. Guess its high time we move beyond jazzy remakes and keep the original flavour of iconic songs intact.
"Retro is calling ! Presenting you the most awaited Teaser of the year, 'Badan Pe Sitare' again coming back to win your hearts.full song release on 25th September. Retro Song 2.0 #badanpesitare," Asim wrote while sharing the teaser.
Badan Pe Sitare featuring Asim and Sehnoor is directed by Aman Prajapat. It is produced by Saurabh Prajapat and Vijay Thakkar. The Saregama India presented music video will release on September 25.
