PeepingMoon.com, on September 17, exclusively informed its readers that the lead cast of Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 has shot for the show's final episode. The daily soap started on September 25, 2018, and enjoyed a fairly decent time till the lockdown was announced. However, due to poor TRP and with the lead actor Parth Samthaan quitting the show, the channel and makers decided to pull the plug on Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
Sahil Anand, who played the role of Anupam in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, shared pictures from the show's last shoot day on Instagram. Posing for the camera with Erica Fernandes, Shubhaavi Choksey, Pooja Banerjee and Parth, Sahil thanked the team for giving him the show and priceless memories. "Not sure when we'll have an opportunity to come together for another project and have mad fun on the set! But yes, off-screen madness has just begun!! Erica, who played the role of Prerna in the daily show, shared pictures of cakes sent in by her fans. She was seen cutting them with Parth aka Anurag and the rest of the cast.
Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 also starred Aamna Sharif and Karan Patel. The show will end on October 3, 2020.
