An era comes to an end: Rashami Desai, Sidharth Shukla and Shivangi Joshi express their deepest condolences on the demise of Saroj Khan

Ace Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan passed away from cardiac arrest in the wee hours of Friday on July 3, 2020. She was admitted to Guru Nanak hospital on June 17 after complaining of chest pain. The veteran choreographer was 72.

Saroj, who was lovingly called 'Masterji' in Bollywood, worked in over 200 films and was loved by many. As the sad news of her demise came in, several television actors have paid their last respects to the veteran choreographer. 

Taking to his Twitter account, Sunil Grover wrote, "Shocked to know the sad demise of Saroj khan ji. An era comes to an end with her. Rest in peace."

Actor Arjun Bijlani, who got a chance to feature with her on a television show, shared, "The woman who made the stars, stars and dance like stars. I’m Glad I shared the stage with you in this lifetime. RIP. Prayers."

Shivangi Joshi shared several photos from an event with Saroj Khan and wrote, "prayers". 

Rashami Desai tweeted, "She was the “Mother of choreography in india" Our Guru ji!  Sad sad May her soul rest in peace #SarojKhan #OmShanti"

Sidharth Shukla wrote, "You were truly one of the reasons dance became an integral part of every household.. your legacy will continue to live on forever.. rest in peace #SarojKhan"
