'Ishqbaaz' actress Additi Gupta tests positive for Coronavirus, says, 'chose to quarantine myself at home since I was asymptomatic'

The outbreak of Coronavirus has caused havoc all over the world. With its alarming spread, the invisible enemy has taken countless people into its custody. Now, as India continues to battle the novel COVID-19 for the past three months, Additi Gupta has tested positive for the novel COVID-19. The actress who has done television shows like Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil, Qubool Hai, Ishqbaaaz among several others is home-quarantined for the last 7-8 days since she was asymptomatic. She stated that her husband is a great support and has been keeping a check on her constantly. Additi informed that she will have to remain in quarantine for another 10 days. Saying that she was stressed initially, Additi hoped that she will get back to normalcy soon.

"The moment I lost my smelling sense I quarantined myself and got tested. The reports came out positive and I chose to quarantine myself at home since I was asymptomatic. It’s been 7 to 8 days that I have confined myself in a room. I have great support from my husband, family and friends. They are constantly keeping a check on me. Now, I have partially got my smelling sense back. I will quarantine myself for the next 10 more days. I am eating well and taking proper medication. I would like to say don’t panic but honestly, it is not really a great thing to have. I was a bit stressed initially but with the proper medication and positive approach you will be fine. Also, one should shy away from talking about it. For me, my good days are back and can’t wait to get back to normalcy," Additi told.
