Ekta Kapoor's Naagin franchise has proven to be one of the most successful ventures for her. A tale of revenge backed with folklore and supernatural elements, the story of shape-shifting serpents has caught fancy of the audience. However, due to the lockdown and budget issues, Naagin 4 has been cut short. Ekta, a few months ago confirmed the same and assured that Naagin 5 is in the making. Now, after much wait, the makers of Naagin 4 featuring Rashami Desai, Nia Sharma and Vijayendra Kumeria shared the latest promo of the show.
In the promo shared by Ekta on her Instagram, Brinda (Nia) is seen walking towards the Shiv mandir while Shalaka (Rashami) and Dev (Vijayendra) look shocked. Interestingly, another naagin is shown making an appearance and we wonder whether she is the one who will be leading the fifth season. In the voiceover, it is indicated that the secret of the ancient Shiv mandir will be unveiled in the grand finale of Naagin 4.
According to reports, Naagin 4 will end with Brinda killing Vishakha aka Anita Hassanandani and Shalaka. It is also said that Dev and Brinda will also be murdered and therefore, the temple's secret will be disclosed.
Talking of Naagin 5, rumours are rife that Hina Khan and Surbhi Chandna have been finalised to play the titular role. Paras Chhabra has been approached for the male lead but he is yet to sign the contract. Further details of Naagin 5 are yet to announced.
