Television's most adored couple Ekta Kaul and Sumeet Vyas welcomed their first child, a baby boy today. Proud father Sumeet, moments after their son arrived in the world, shared the news on his Instagram account. Ekta and Sumeet have named their son Ved Vyas. 

"It’s a boy. Shall be called VED. Mamma and Daddy are acting cliché ... smothering the child every few minutes...." wrote Sumeet while sharing the good news.

New mommy in town, Ekta, a couple of days ago, shared an appreciation post for Sumeet on her Instagram. "Our world is about to change. But my life has changed because of you. I am so thankful that we get to go on this ride together. So before all the screaming and diaper changing begins, I just want to say PAPA you are beautiful. Thank you !!," she wrote while sharing a video. Along with this, Ekta posted pictures of Sumeet and his sister Shruti Vyas decorating the house for the baby's grand arrival.

Ekta, known for her role in the television show Mere Angne Mein, and Sumeet tied the knot in September 2018 in Jammu. The couple announced Ekta's pregnancy through an adorable post in April this year.
