'The situation is far worse than it's being portrayed,' says Vikas Gupta after his building gets sealed due to a resident testing positive for COVID-19

It was only yesterday when Karan Johar informed everyone that two of his staff members have been tested positive with COVID-19 and have been taken for treatment. Now, TV producer Vikas Gupta's residential building in Malad West, Mumbai has been sealed after a resident was diagnosed with Coronavirus. 

Vikas confirmed the news with an entertainment portal and said, "These are troubled times for everyone. We need to be careful and attentive. The situation is far worse than it's being portrayed. There’s are not enough beds in hospital and not enough death beds in the resting place. That’s the situation. I would only request everyone to be taking this more seriously than their jobs or exams some relationships. Jab insaan rahega to sab rahenge."

Vikas' building was sealed by BMC on Saturday evening and all the residents have been requested to take special care and follow guidelines. Earlier, actors like Arjun Bijlani and Ankita Lokhande had also faced the same issue as their buildings were sealed after a resident tested positive with the novel virus.
