Sushant Singh Rajput’s-Ankita Lokhande’s ‘Pavitra Rishta’ to return to TV, ‘Ramayan’ to re-run dubbed in Marathi

The Coronavirus lockdown has stalled the shootings of all the TV shows due to which the channels are unable to air fresh episodes of the daily soaps. They have resorted to either re-airing old episodes or opting to re-run their old hit and still popular serials. Doordarshan was the first to start this and had a successful stint with serials like Ramayan, Mahabharat, Uttar Ramayan, Shri Krishna, Shaktimaan, Circus and others.

Several other channels also followed suit and started airing their old shows. Now, as per the latest report, Zee TV has decided to re-run popular show Pavitra Rishta that aired in 2009 and starred Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande in the lead. Asha Negi and Rithvik Dhanjani also featured in the show. Ekta Kapoor shared the news on Instagram by sharing a video of the show and captioned it as, “#pavitrarishta back! credit: @balajitelefilmslimited... Dekhiye #PavitraRishta Mon-Fri, dopahar 3 baje, @zeetv par.."
