Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma are ALREADY married; the actress spills the bean on it!

Here’s the good news for all the fans of TV actors Puja Banerjee and Kunal Verma. The couple who were in a steady relationship for almost nine years have finally got married.

In an interview to an online portal, Puja revealed that the two were supposed to exchange wedding vows on April 15, 2020 but due to national lockdown they cancelled their big-fat wedding plans. However, they have already done a court marriage one-and-half month back.

We had already done a court marriage, one-and-half month back. We hadn't spoken about it to the world. Today, we were supposed to do our wedding rituals but had to call them off due to the lockdown. However, we will consider today (April 15) as our wedding,” Puja Banerjee said in a statement.

She further added, “Seeing the condition outside, I really don't think it will be possible to have any party etc at least for the next 6 months from now. Even if the lockdown is lifted, it will take some time for things to return to normalcy. Many of our relatives stay in Kolkata and some are abroad. Hence, we decided okay at least let's announce our shaadi for now.”

On being asked if the couple will be celebrating in a big way in the future, to which Puja replied, “We will definitely do something in future. Probably, on our first anniversary, we will plan something big with our family and friends.”

On work front, Puja made her TV debut with Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki. She later went on to play the lead in Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna opposite beau Kunal Verma and Sarvggun Sampanna.
