Honesty is not a crime but trolling with foul language is: Devoleena on being trolled by 'Bigg Boss 13' contestants Sidharth-Shehnaaz fans for views against them

Devoleena Bhattacharjee recently expressed her opinion on Sidharth Shukla's and Shehnaaz Gill’s music album Bhula Dunga. Although she liked the song, however, she didn’t approve the chemistry between Sidharth and Shehnaaz. Devoleena’s criticism did not go well with SidNaaz fans who later trolled the actress and also slut-shamed her. In fact, one of the users had released an audio clip where she character assassinated the actress and her mother.

Replying to the user, Devoleena wrote, “Yes we are trolled for being honest. I didn't go to anyone to put mine. It was Sana's fans who came to me & asked abt it. And an opinion can’t be compared with filthy trolls & abuses on parents. Honesty is not a crime but trolling with foul language definitely is.”

Devoleena’s best friend Rashami Desai had stepped in to support her friend. Unfortunately, she got trolled herself. "Whatever is happening is not right. People should know how to talk and mind their words. This is the time to show a civilized behaviour. The moment I heard the audio, which I have tweeted as well, I was bombarded with trolls- it was extremely painful. Who gave them the right to go on someone's character, bring out someone's past or talk shit about their family? And then, they are also trying to teach us what we have to say and how we have to say as if they are ruling us. It is not necessary people will only talk in your favour. One should know how to accept rejection and work on it," Rashami said in a statement.

Rashami and Devoleena were friends prior to Bigg Boss 13 and their friendship wasn’t hampered by the fights in the house too.
