'My deleted post shouldn’t consider as an apology' - Mahira Sharma on forged Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival award

A few days back, Bigg Boss 13 fame Mahira Sharma grabbed headlines over forging the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award. However, the actress claimed that it was a third party’s fault and not hers.

Recently, Mahira put up a post on her Instagram page in which she had written that she would like to close the matter once and for all amicably and hence would be returning the appreciation certificate to DPIFF (Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival) officials. Surprisingly, minutes later, she deleted the post.

When questioned about it, she replied that her deleted post shouldn't be considered as an apology and that she is firm on her stand with how she received the certificate from Mr. Premal Mehta, and it was only a case of miscommunication. For the unaware, last month Mahira attended the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2020 in Mumbai and a few hours after the event, on her Instagram stories, she posted a picture of a certificate, which revealed that she was named 'The Most Fashionable Contestant Of Bigg Boss 13' by DPIFF team. Soon, she was bombarded with congratulatory messages and in the meantime, DPIFF claimed that Mahira has 'forged' the certificate and she should apologize for it.

On the personal front, Mahira is allegedly dating Paras Chhabra; however, the two claims to be ‘just good friends’.
