Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 starring Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan as Prerna and Anurag, enjoys a loyal fan following. The daily soap which premiered on September 25, 2018, has kept the audience glued to their television screens with interesting plot twists. From Komolika (Hina Khan and then Aamna Sharif currently) to Mr. Bajaj (Karan Singh Grover), the antagonists making the lives of the protagonists difficult, found massive appreciation. While avid television watchers were enjoying the current track, actress Fatima Sana Shaikh gave a disclaimer into what's in store next by sharing her 'dream'. She said that she dreamt of Anurag killing Prerna! Surprised and shocked, fans hoped that it doesn't come true. But, alas.
In the latest promo, producer Ekta confirmed that Anurag is behind putting Prerna to death. In the video shared on Star Plus' Instagram handle, one can see Anurag pushing Prerna down, just like the scene from Shah Rukh Khan's Baazigar wherein he murders Shilpa Shetty by throwing her off the terrace.
Soon after the promo went viral on social media platforms, fans of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and 'AnuPre' couldn't believe their eyes. Moments later, they began making requests to Ekta to not allow their favourite characters to separate. Disappointed with Anurag's grey shade, fans called out to Ekta by commenting, 'Kabhi toh chain se jeeene doh maaate, kya mang rahe hai hum? Bas 1-2 week hi na of Anupre with their Cutiepie? Itna behrehem humare Anupre ke liye hi kyun? baasss bhi Karo. ek haad Hoti hai but nahi, yahan toh sab bas too much hi dikhana hai'.
