In a shocking turn of events TV actress Sejal Sharma was found dead in her flat by her friend today. She was found hanging from her ceiling fans in her flat and left a suicide note behind her. The actress was last seen on the show Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji. Sejal was found dead at her Mira Road flat in Mumbai. The time of her death is noted as 4 am.
In her suicide note, she has written that for the past one-and-a-half months she was suffering from depression and that she was not happy with her life. Apparently, she was not working for the past several months and in her suicide note, she did not blame anyone for her death. She also begged for forgiveness from her parents.
Sejal used to live in Mira Road’s Shivar Garden locality. Her flat was in the Royal Nest building. Sejal used to play the role of main lead Ansh Bharari’s sister in the serial Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji. She was from Udaipur and had come to Mumbai in 2017. Before appearing on television serials, Sejal had worked with many commercials as well. She had worked in advertisements with Aamir Khan for Vivo and with Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya for Usha Fans. She was also seen in web series Azad Parinde.
Actress Jasmin Bhasin who has worked with Sejal on the show Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji spoke to an entertainment portal about the actress’s suicide. She said, “I'm shocked and disturbed because she was a very happy girl and we would get along really well. I don't see any reason why did she do that. But, it's very sad.” The cops have taken her body in custody and are waiting for her parents to arrive. They are expected to arrive tonight.
