Won't work for more than eight hours because of son Taimur: Kareena Kapoor Khan on her TV debut with Dance India Dance

Over the past few years, several Bollywood actors have turned to exploring the medium of television, be it with fiction dramas or reality shows. Kareena Kapoor Khan, who till now managed to stay away from foraying into the small screen, is finally set to make her TV debut with as a judge on Dance India Dance (DID). The recently recently promo of the show, featuring Kareena in her most glamorous avatar, has amped up the excitement levels of the audience although she admits that she deliberated for two weeks before saying yes to the project.

In an interaction with a leading daily, Kareena said, "My management told me about DID's offer, but initially, I wasn't sure. It has been a long-standing show. In their 10th year, they have revamped the concept, made it a 360-degree set with over 200 cameras shooting the acts. So, I was excited to join them." However, she set down a few conditions before sealing the deal, considering the hectic schedules of the television world. "I made it clear that I don't work for more than eight hours because of my son [Taimur]. Sometimes, I can make an exception of working up to 12 hours. The makers have been kind and worked out everything the way I wanted," she was quoted as saying.
