Watch: On the Kapil Sharma Show, Varun Dhawan reveals his political party will have ‘underwear’ as its symbol

Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur are leaving no stone unturned in promoting their film Kalank that is releasing tomorrow. The fabulous four had some amazing fun and frolic during all their promotional campaigns. They danced, cracked jokes and pulled each other’s leg at every event. However, they recently appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show to promote their film and Varun stole the limelight by cracking a hilarious joke about the ongoing 2019 Lok Sabha Elections.

A short clip from Kapil Sharma’s popular show went viral on social media where Varun states that he wants to keep ‘underwear’ as the symbol of his political party. In the clip, Kapil asks Varun, Sonakshi and Alia about their political symbols and Varun says, “Mera chunav chinh hota kachcha, sabse acha.” Sonakshi bursts out laughing while Alia gives Varun a murderous stare. Replying to the same question, Alia on the other said, “Thali. Raajneeti mein maine chamche bahut dekhe hain par thaali nahi dekhi hai.”

Sonakshi whose father Shatrughan Sinha switched parties and now is contesting the elections on a Congress ticket decided to use her father’s iconic dialogue ‘Khamosh’ and said, “Meri party kam bolegi aur zyada karegi.”

Besides, Varun, Alia, Aditya and Sonakshi Kalank also stars Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Kunal Kemmu. It is directed by Abhishek Varman and produced by Karan Johar and Sajid Nadiadwala. It is all set to release tomorrow on April 17.
