Anil D. Ambani led Reliance Entertainment's content development and production company Big Synergy is all set to present the emerging new genre of sports docu-drama with its show Dream On scheduled to air on India’s leading sports network and the home of Indian Premier League- Star Sports.
Dream On will bring to viewers the untold stories of nine cricket players from a varied background who realized their ambition to be selected in the most celebrated sports event in the world - the IPL. Capturing the struggles, backgrounds, paths, highs and lows and the eventual celebration, the show will take viewers on a tour to each
player's hometown and relive their real-life stories. The players featured in the series include - Khaleel Ahmed, Rinku Singh, Rahul and Deepak Chahar, Kulwant Khejroliya, Shivam Mavi, Aryaman Birla, Manzoor Dar and Shubman.
Star Sports selected Big Synergy to set their feet in a one of its kind non-fiction sports series, documenting the journey of the young cricketers. As Star Sports unleashes its IPL campaign for 2019, the series will bring to life the promise that IPL holds for every budding cricketer in the country. Dream On is a one-of-a-kind 8 part series that will telecast every Saturday and Sunday on Star Sports, starting 16th March, at 10 am and 2 pm
