With the nation coming together to celebrate Holi, the entire television industry is also gripped by its fever. The colourful festival is not just about water balloons and rang, but also about creating special memories.

Avinash Sachdev: I miss the Holi that we celebrated back at home in Baroda, the small town filled with fun and fervour gave me a different kind of excitement. I have played Holi the most during my school days, things have changed drastically now. I do not really enjoy the Holi celebrated in Mumbai, as it is too loud and rash for me. I miss the Holi we celebrated in the good old days, they were simple yet so enjoyable. I don’t fancy playing Holi anymore due to the same reason, although we do have a Holi episode in our show so that’s probably the only time I’ll be playing with colours. There’s much more to Holi than playing with colors and wasting water. So I urge everyone to be mindful about the usage of water yet have a wonderful and happy Holi.

Deepshikha Nagpal: Holi has always been a special festival for me right since childhood and I recall having the most amount of fun playing this festival as a young girl. Holi was never restricted for me to just colours and I often used to use oil paints or even wet mud to celebrate this festival. I remember a time when I along with the entire crew were stuck shooting a dance sequence during Holi and out of frustration of not being able to celebrate the festival I mixed bhang in our energy drinks. I am not sure how we managed to finish the shot, but I surely had a marvelous time shooting that sequence. This time, since I won’t be in Mumbai, I am hoping to have a fun filled Holi on the set of On this Holi, may all the readers and viewers play a safe Holi with organic colours and enjoy the festival. May lord bring an abundance of colour in your life!

Mohit Malhotra: The smell of gujjiyas and the fun of having thandai are synonymous with Holi, it elevates the spirit of the festival. My most cherished memories of this festival have been celebrating it with family and friends. This year we played Holi on the sets of Daayan which was part of a sequence and had a complete blast. Neeti Mohan: This is my first Holi after marriage and I’m very excited about it. My family hails from Delhi and we sisters have always celebrated Holi with our friends and family. Even this year I will be spending time with both sides of the families. Often, due to hectic schedules, we don't see each other but festivals are when we meet and spend some good time together and that's what I'm planning to do. Wish everyone a safe Holi.

Paridhi Sharma: In my childhood, I've always enjoyed Holi. I found it a very interesting festival with full laughter and happiness, but it has been really long since I've played Holi. Somewhere I'm even concerned for the environment, one should be very cautious and not waste water. Holi should be environmental friendly and for your happiness you cannot cause harm to other creatures or to our environment.
This time we are going to celebrate Holi on the sets of Patiala Babes as there is a very interesting Holi sequence on the show. Mini and I are even going to dance and I've played a lot of Holi during the shoot itself. I'm going to my hometown Indore and we are going to have a get together with friends and family. In childhood once, our neighbors didn't want to play Holi and had kept their doors shut. We kids really wanted them to play with us and used many tactics to get them to play with water and colors which later on forced them to play Holi with us and they actually enjoyed it later on.

Ruslaan Mumtaaz: I am a little conscious about my skin and hence do not like to play Holi. There is another funny incident of my college days, which makes me run away from colors. A group of friends in my college was playing with dark colors and one of them happened to paint me green. The color on my skin luckily vanished the next day but my hair turned green. And it was for the next six months that I moved around with that alien look but I never even dared to play Holi after this incidence.

Shubhangi Atre: Holi brings back several memories of a time when I used to celebrate the festival with my family back in Bhopal. Belonging to a large joint family, we used to shop much in advance for ‘pichkaris’ and bright colours that we could throw on each other. It was one of those days when I would wake up early and my mom would apply a lot of oil on my hair. Holi celebrations in Mumbai have been very different from that celebrated in my hometown. I mostly celebrate now with my daughter and husband who are equally always excited about this festival. Like always this year, Holi will be celebrated on the sets of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain.
