Teejay Sidhu gets into a Twitter war with Pakistani actress Veena Malik after she mocks IAF pilot Abhinandan

The tension between India and Pakistan reached a breaking point three days back. On Tuesday, India conducted air strikes in Pakistan’s Balakot as a response to the Pulwama terror attack on February 14. The next day, the Indian government confirmed that an Indian Air Force MiG-21 was shot down by Pakistan, and the pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, is currently in Pakistan custody. Videos of the officer have been doing the rounds on social media and people from all over are tweeting about the same. Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman is returning to India today.

Yesterday, Pakistani actress Veena Malik posted an extremely insensitive tweet about the entire situation. She wrote, sharing a picture of the officer, “Abhi Abhi Tu Ayo Ho…Achi Mehmaan Nawazi Ho GI Aap Ki.” This made several Bollywood celebrities angry and now, after Swara Bhasker and Saumya Tandon, Teeja Sidhu has come out and tweeted back to Veena.

An angry Teejay wrote, “Shame on you, #VeenaMalik, for having zero humanity! Are you even a human being yourself? Your happiness over seeing a person in this condition is sickening. (PS: This is the same country where you came to, seeking a livelihood).” Later, Karanvir Bohra too took to Twitter to slam Veena for his comments as he wrote, “Shame on you @iVeenaKhan for stooping so low.. if you can't be someone that your country can be proud off, then just keep quiet and stay in your #LALALAND.”
