Confirmed: Niti Taylor to star opposite Nakuul Mehta in Ishqbaaaz; Manjiri Pupala’s character to turn negative

Television actress Niti Taylor, best known for her role in Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan opposite Parth Samthaan, will star as the new female lead in Nakuul Mehta’s Ishqbaaaz. On Instagram, Niti shared a short video, in which she announced the news and also revealed the name of her character, Mannat Kaur Khurana.

Ishqbaaaz is a popular television series that primarily centred around Shivaay’s (Nakuul Mehta) and Anika’s (Surbhi Chandna) relationship. The plot of the story, however, changed last year as Ishqbaaaz took a leap of few years while Surbhi quit the show. Ishqbaaaz, at present, is concentrating on Shivaay’s and Anika's son Shivaansh Singh Oberoi’s love story. Nakuul is playing Shivaansh’s role in the show.

Manjiri Pupala also stars in the show at present as a cop and with Niti being roped in as well, it is being reported that makers are planning to revolve the plot around a love triangle between the three characters. Reports also suggest that Manjiri will play the antagonist in the show.

Meanwhile, Supriya Pilgaonkar also joined Ishqbaaaz and plays a police commissioner in the show. Ishqbaaaz completed 600 episodes in August 2018.
