Well, you need to hold your breath because Janhvi Kapoor’s friend Tanisha Santoshi appeared in a short clip on the Friends Like These segment on Koffee With Karan 6 and revealed that the young actress used to be a “low-key klepto” when she was a child. Yes, folks, this is true. Moreover, Tanisha also said that Janhvi has a “really goofy side” to her as well, and she also narrated a story with reference to that trait of the actress.
“For most of you’ll that don’t know, Janhvi has a really goofy side to her personality. And one goofy story that I can think of is that when we were in Switzerland and there was really not much to do there and we were having a boring time. And Janhvi wanted to tell her friends that she was having so much fun and that there were a lot of cute guys. So, what does Janhvi decide to do? She decides to dress herself as a guy. So, she starts taking pillows and bulks herself up. She wears a hoodie and she sends pictures to everyone. But obviously, no one believed her,” Tanisha said in the video.

And for all those waiting to hear about the klepto bit, here’s the deal.
“Another issue about Janhvi that I’m really concerned about is the fact that she is a low-key klepto. So, she as a child used to steal. And steal what? Pebbles and fish. She would, in fact, go to any hotel that had a pond and she would try and steal the fish and bring it back home thinking that no one knew. But actually, everyone knew. The only way aunty could actually get her to eat a fish was if she was playing with a dead fish in front of her,” Tanisha added.
But guys, Janhvi begged to differ from Tanisha as far as the first story is concerned as she clarified on Koffee With Karan 6.

“So, she wanted to make this boy jealous. So, she wanted to text him saying, ‘On, I’m chilling with Kevin over here.’ And he was like, ‘Who’s Kevin?’ And I was like, ‘I’ll be your Kevin.’ So, I stuffed myself with…I was just being a good friend. And she fully flipped on me in the video,” Janhvi said.
The second story, about Janhvi being a klepto, appears to be true though. “So, I used to go to JW Marriott and there’s a little stairway into the pond, where they go to clean the pond or whatever. I used to go with a jug and I used to steal those little baby fish and I used to take it home and put it in my fish tank,” Janhvi said.
