It is Saif Ali Khan’s and Sara Ali Khan’s turn to enjoy a cuppa Koffee with Karan Johar on the sixth season of his celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan today and the filmmaker began the show with a blast. Not only is this Sara’s and Saif’s first time together on screen but also Sara’s Koffee debut. The star kid who will be soon seen making her big Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath graced the show with her daddy dearest Saif and well, we are ready for the daddy-daughter duo to spill a lot of secrets.
The episode started with a bang with Saif talking about the unconventional age gap between him and Sara. He also admitted to not being that strict or stubborn with her. Later on, Sara revealed about her equation with Kareena and how they all manage to be the new age modern quintessential family. When Karan asked Sara about how she managed everything with so much ease as she looked up to Kareena as a great actress, Sara quipped about Kareena still being Pooh for her sometimes.
"There are moments still moments where Kareena is Pooh and I am like no, she is also my father's wife. I feel that everybody has been very clear with me and there has been no confusion in any equation. Kareena has herself said to me and she still tells that look you have a mother and a great mother and what I want is for us to be friends. My father also never said that she is your second mother."
"Stepmother would have not been a title she would have liked," Saif clarified.
"I was thinking what should I call her; Kareena, Kareena aunty and my father is like you don't wanna call her aunty. So, I don't think there has been any confusion. And I see my father today and my mother today and they're both much happier. I think what I've now is two comfortable homes than one uncomfortable one." Sara added.
One big happy family they are and in the end that is what matters the most!
