Television actress Hina Khan has already bagged Ekta Kapoor’s another project apart from Kasautii Zindagi Kay. Yes, you read it right! Recently, in an interview, the pretty actress revealed that she has not only bagged the iconic role of Komolika in Kasautii Zindagi Kay reboot but also has another project in her kitty.
In an interview to a leading tabloid, Hina Khan said, “After Bigg Boss, I was flooded with positive roles and let go of four such big shows. But when I met Ekta, and she offered me the best of both worlds, I couldn’t say no. It’s a compliment that she has confidence in me to pull off the two characters.”
When questioned further about the next show, Hina refused to give the details. “I can’t disclose much. All I can say is that it’s a very big show and I play a positive character in it. And yes, it’s not a web series at all,” the actress said.
Apparently, Hina Khan has also signed a Bollywood film apart from Ekta Kapoor’s shows. When asked about it, she replied, “Yes, I have signed but it’s at a very initial stage. I can’t talk about it right now. Currently, I am just working on my television project and I want to focus on it.”
The character of Komolika, who went on to become one of the most iconic negative leads of the small screen 17 years back, has created quite a stir even now. While the makers revealed the lead star cast - Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes in its very first episode, they kept the identity of Komolika under wraps for the longest time.
The actress entered the show yesterday on October 29, 2018.
