Comedian Kapil Sharma, who has been away from the spotlight for a long time following several allegations of unprofessional behaviour, is finally back in Mumbai. The comedian recently announced that he is all set to begin the shoot of new season of The Kapil Sharma Show.
Kapil shared the news of his arrival in Mumbai on his social media account by posting an upbeat selfie with his two colleagues. He captioned the pic: "Back in mumbai after one n half month.. now it’s time to make u people laugh with the new season of #TKSS." (sic).
After facing various health issues and professional downfall, Kapil had taken a break from work. While he launched Family Time with Kapil in March this year, the show went off air after just three episodes. However, this time around, Kapil has decided to bring back his previous show – TKSS.
Meanwhile, on the personal front, Kapil has decided start another chapter of life by getting married to his girlfriend, Ginni Chatrath. The wedding date is not fixed yet, but it will be a December wedding.
Talking to IANS, Kapil said, "My mother has been saying that I should get married for a long time. Suddenly I realised that 'abhi age ho rahi hai' (It's my age to get married). So, I thought what if she says 'no' and after one or two years, and no one agrees to get married to me."
