The most iconic and awaited character of Kasautii Zindagii Kay Komolika was finally featured on the show on October 30 and we cannot get over her first glimpse. Hair twirling, bright blue eyes, boho nose ring, and ruffled ghaghra choli was what made her look a blockbuster one. But you won't believe what took Ekta Kapoor to finalize Komolika's perfect outfits for the show.
A few days back, Ekta had teased her fans with Komolika's cholis designs. She posted some pictures on her Insta story, which showed itsy-bitsy colourful cholis. But did you know, Ekta has turned designer for this show? Reportedly, Ekta rejected 7 designers for Komolika’s outfit and finally decided to turn a designer for Komolika.

“Komolika’s role had become a household name and had been a well-received character on the show. Keeping the character’s popularity in mind, Ekta is being extremely particular with the new version of Komolika. So far, Ekta has done trials with 7 designers for her look but none of them have convinced her. So, finally, she has decided to involve herself in her look. She wants to give Komolika an indo-western look, and is currently working with her in-house designer on minute details of it,” a source informed us.
The show is a reboot of the hit early 2000s soap opera by the same name. The original serial starred Shweta Tiwari, Ronit Roy and Cezzanne Khan in lead roles while Urvashi Dholakia played Komolika.
