Vishal Karwal quit 'Paramavatar Shri Krishna'; Himanshu Malhotra takes over his role

Actor Vishal Karwal popularly known for portraying mythological characters has quit Paramavatar Shri Krishna. Apparently, there was some creative difference between the actor and the makers. This led him to quit the show mid-way. However, the actor shares another reason behind it.

When contacted, Vishal told us, “I was shooting for just a few days in a month and so it wasn’t making any sense to me. Most channels refrained from approaching me as I was occupied with just one show. The show is doing very well and obviously, it will go on for a few more years. However, I did not want to spend these years in a show where I am required for only a few days. And decided to quit this show and seek other projects. Well, this is the only reason behind my decision.”

Just a few weeks after Vishal exited the show, Himanshu Malhotra, the winner of Nach Baliye 7, took over the role. This marked Himanshu’s debut in the mythological genre. “This is a stepping stone to explore an artiste. The idea is to do something which has not been attempted before. It’s time to move beyond the daily soaps now; I have done that for the past 10 years,” Himanshu said in a statement.

Recently, Himanshu Malhotra was also in news for his chat show, Share and Grow Spotlight. “I believe that there is so much to learn from each other. We all have had our share of ups and downs and putting it across is a means of motivating the audience. The entire idea of the show is not to gossip or create controversies but bringing out a positive outlook. This show has the capacity and potential to inspire people and transform lives,” Himanshu said in another interview.
