But what shocked everyone the most was Vikas Gupta’s sudden exit. The Bigg Boss fame celebrity, known for a strict fitness regime, kept the spirit of sportsmanship alive despite his shoulder injury, amidst rigorous training in Argentina with the help of painkillers.

A source close to the reality show stated that Gupta was one of the top contenders but couldn’t continue till the end. With just two weeks remaining for the finale, this is probably one of the greatest defeats for him. The source added that he kept his injury under the wraps till his health situation worsened. The painkiller is known to shoot up the heart rate when combined with physical workout. Considering strict health policies, the makers decided to allow an appropriate resting period for the celebrity.

Not just the makers, even the doctors didn’t permit Vikas to continue on the show and advised complete rest until recovery. To add to his misery, Gupta suffered a snake bite earlier in the show while trying to rescue a co-contestant, Bharti Singh. Looks like the injury proved fatal for Vikas.

The host of Khatron Ke Khiladi, director Rohit Shetty is apprehensive of the fact that the latest season has seen a rise in the number of injuries than the previous installments.
Indeed, safety seems to be a priority for the Team KKKThe show is currently being shot in Argentina. Apparently, the show was supposed to go on air by the end of this year; however, due to some programming reason, the channel has decided to postpone it for next year.
