Ekta Kapoor announced the revamped version of her decade-old show, Kausautii Zinadagii Kay with a brand new cast recently. And since its announcement, speculations of who will be playing who in the new show has been the talk of the town.

Yesterday PeepingMoon.com was the first one to exclusively tell everyone that Parth Samthaan is the front-runner for the role of Anurag and now we are confirming that it's Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan actor who has made the cut.

Erica Fernandes was the first one to be cast in the show as Prerna. Then, Hina Khan was confirmed to reprise the iconic character of Komolika in the show. Now finally, Ekta Kapoor's hunt for the perfect Anurag Basu has ended and reportedly the actor will have a look test with co-actor Erica Fernandez soon. With the leads being locked, the show will go on floors soon. It is expected to launch sometime next month.

Our source informed, "Ekta and her team required a young face for the rebooted show. . After numerous look tests and auditions, the team finally zeroed on Parth. He was locked for the role last night and an official announcement will happen soon."

For the unversed, Erica has already shot for the first teaser, a promo with Hina and Parth will also be released soon.

Giving an indirect confirmation to the news, Ekta on Saturday posted a series of mysterious tweets confirming the ‘young’ Parth coming on board for Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.
