Actor Vishal Thakkar, who has been a part of Bollywood movies like Munnabhai MBBS and Chandni Bar, is still missing. The actor was booked for allegedly raping a 25-year-old model in 2015. It has been over two years now that Vishal has not returned home.
“Family members are in search of Vishal for more than two years now. They are clueless about their son; however, they have not lost the hope. They are in touch with the Mumbai police authorities. Unfortunately, so far they have also been not able to help them out. Vishal’s mother has slipped into depression; all she wants is her son to be back. The family members are trying to source out every possibility to trace him, but so far all their efforts are in vain,” a close source informs.
About the incident:
In November 2015, Vishal Thakkar was accused of raping his alleged girlfriend. The lady had lodged a complaint against the actor at Charkop police station. However, after a mutual consent, she took her complaint back.
Even though the couple sorted out their differences, this incident left a drastic impact on Vishal. He did not get work in the industry and his image was tarnished because of controversy, which led him into depression. Two months after the incident, he went missing. The actor has been missing since January 1, 2016.
Apart from Munnabhai MBBS and Chandni Bar, Vishal was also seen on the popular serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
