Kapil Sharma is riding his way back to your television screen on a bus!

Kapil Sharma is among one of the reigning comedy kings in the country. And to finally have him back on television has created a frenzy among his fans.

The comedian took to his social media to share the announcement with a funny promo that takes a dig at his unemployment.

In the promo, Kapil is seen trying to convince a rickshawaala to give him a ride who refuses because of Kapil inability to pay up. And it's then Kapil gets a call from Sony and he gets on a bus while getting into a funny batter with the rickshawaala.

With Firangi not fairing well at the box-office, Kapil will return to television with his upcoming show that will be showcased in a completely different avatar.

A close source informs, “Kapil wanted to try something different from his previous one and the channel agreed to take a risk. After a lot of meetings and discussions, the channel has signed a deal with the comedian for a new show which would be more like a reality show. But the format and the concept will be totally different from the one that viewers have seen so far.”

In a recent interview, Kapil had said, "I am deeply touched by the warmth and love the audience has showered on us over the years. It’s their belief and undying devotion that encourages us to continue to reinvent ourselves and bring smiles to every household week on week. I am grateful to Sony Entertainment Channel for believing in me and our show and supporting us in creating and bringing unlimited entertainment to every household every weekend."

And asking about Sunil Grover's return, the source continued, "No, Sunil is not coming back. The remaining cast of The Kapil Sharma Show will be part of the series while there can be some new addition also. The title of the show has also not being finalized. But Kapil and the makers are working hard to make this a bigger and better project."
