Gurmeet Choudhary reminisces about his struggling days and it will surely inspire you

Actor Gurmeet Choudhary has come a long way to get his due in the entertainment industry. Starting from TV and then making his mark in Bollywood, his journey hasn't been easy. With his wife Debina Bonnerjee by his side, the couple has made a wonderful life for themselves, brick by brick. As they had no godfather in the industry, waiting with a platter full of offers, the duo has seen many ups and lows of life and survived them with determination and gratitude.

Getting nostalgic about his struggling days, Gurmeet posted a click with Debina on social media. He wrote, "All of 17 yrs. didn't hv enough money even to travel. So saved for a train travel and went to Tirupati Balaji. And god has blessed us enough to land up where we are from just a mere suitcase with both our clothes. From Days of unbranded clothes and moving around freely ,to Brands and lots of love from the fans, the only constant is each other's hand ! ( thinking about it now ,may be lord Balaji blessed us to play Ram Sita on screen !! And eventually got married)."

Debina and Gurmeet played the role of Sita and Ram in Ramayan (2008). It was there where they fell in love and eventually decided to get married, Now the two have adopted two little girls, Pooja and Lata, and are happily shouldering the responsibility of being the dutiful parents.

On the work front, Gurmeet will be next seen JP Dutta's star-studded Paltan. He will be playing the role of an army officer. "It's a huge honour to work with J.P. sir. Since my father has served the army and his country for several years, I've been fascinated to play a soldier on the big screen,” shared the actor. Debina is currently on a break from her TV assignments.
