Veteran actor Dilip Kumar passed away at the age of 95. He was undergoing a prolonged illness and was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati hospital on Friday after complaining breathlessness. He was survived by wife Saira Banu.

Dilip Kumar was titled as Bollywood's tragedy king. He was seen in popular films like Naya Daur, Devdas, Madhumati, Daag, Kranti, Karma, Saudagar, and Mughal-e-Azam to name a few.

Apart from encouraging new talents in the industry, he had also done humanitarian work as he was involved in charitable and social movements.
