Bigg Boss OTT 2 gets two weeks' extension, confirms host Salman Khan

Bigg Boss OTT got renewed for a second season. It went on air on June 17 and three weeks later, the show is making headlines for the right and wrong reasons. As per the format, Bigg Boss OTT is scheduled to end in 6 weeks. However, host Salman Khan announced that the season has been extended for 2 more weeks. On Weekend Ka Vaar, the superstar shared the news with the housemates.

Salman said, "The entire work that you may have done in your career is much less than how much people have seen you here over the past three weeks. "This is what, just six weeks? Or maybe it will get extended to eight weeks. What does that mean? That means the show got an extension for two weeks. That means people are loving it. A watch time of 400 crore minutes in just two weeks - the first two weeks of Bigg Boss OTT 2. You guys are seen more than I am seen. Obviously, this season has been extended by two weeks."

Pooja Bhatt, Abhishek Malhan, Avinash Sachdev, Manisha Rani, Jiya Shankar, Jad Hadid, Falaq Naaz, Cyrus Broacha and Bebika Dhurve are in the race for the trophy. Superstar Puneet got evicted within 24 hours of the premiere whereas Palak Purswani, Aaliya Siddiqui and Akanksha Puri were voted out in the past 3 weeks.
