Bigg Boss OTT is currently keeping the audience engaged with high-voltage drama. After Urfi Javed, Ridhima Pandit and Karan Nath's evictions, the contestants who will progress ahead in the show are Zeeshan Khan, Pratik Sehajpal, Shamita Shetty, Moose Jattana, Divya Agarwal, Raqesh Bapat, Neha Bhasin, Akshara Singh, Milind Gaba and Nishant Bhat. Host Karan Johar greets the housemates every Sunday. This Sunday Ka Vaar was quite emotional for Shamita.
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, former Bigg Boss contestant Hina Khan entered the Bigg Boss OTT house with messages from the contestants’ siblings. For Shamita, her elder sister Shilpa Shetty recorded a message and said that though they don't have a brother, the sisters always have each other’s back. Shilpa informed that their mother is fine and everyone is missing her and wishing her good luck for Bigg Boss OTT. Shamita got emotional and had tears in her eyes.
Shamita, who participated in Bigg Boss Season 3, got a second chance to be a part of the reality show. In the house, she has had her share of fights with contestants like Nishant. Recently, she lost her cool on him and had a major showdown.
Some time ago, Bigg Boss announced a punishment task. After that, the housemates nominated Shamita-Raqesh and Pratik-Akshara as the weakest contestants. They had to perform a task called Kohlu Ka Bail. Both connections had to rotate a machine continuously without any breaks, except for going to the washroom that too one person at a time. Shamita, suddenly, broke down for being targeted as one of the weaker connections in the house.
She told her connection Raqesh that she senses class divide in the house. She added that people call her classy and bossy just because she comes from a film background. Shamita couldn't control her emotions and said that her family is going through a tough time right now, and like an idiot, she decided to participate in Bigg Boss OTT to prove that she is good. She slammed people for taunting and calling her diplomatic and heartless.
Despite being aware of Shamita's breakdown, Nishant instigated her with his comments. The actress, in fury, hurled abuses at the choreographer. She called him a snake. Reacting to this, Nishant faced the camera and said, "See she is the real Shamita Shetty who abuses people." In the middle of Shamita and Nishant's fight, the latter's partner Moose came to his support. The women also had a fight.
