Remember matchmaker 'Sima Taparia from Mumbai'? Well, who can forget her! Known for the 'cringe-worthy yet catchy' show Indian Matchmaking on Netflix, Sima, who is addressed as Sima Aunty, was accountable for finding brides and grooms for her clients in India and the US. Now, it appears that she will be responsible for fixing 'rishtas' of Bigg Boss OTT contestants. Sima, an elite matchmaker, will be entering the Bigg Boss OTT house.
The show, hosted by Karan Johar, will premiere today. According to her Instagram post, she will join the contestants on August 10. Voot, the OTT platform on which Bigg Boss OTT will stream, confirmed Sima's participation. The channel tweeted, "Bigg Boss OTT + Sima Aunty = Match made in Heaven Humein inka besabri se intezaar hai, aur aapko? Apni kundali ready rakhne, ho sakta hai kuch naye pehlu khul jaaye. Bigg Boss OTT starts streaming today at 8 pm only on Voot." It is still not sure whether she will enter as a guest or as a contestant.

In an interview with a media agency, Sima told, "Bigg Boss OTT will be an Over the Top Experience for me. I just couldn't say 'No'. I'm known for finding the right matches for people, andar ja kar bhi mein wahi karna chahungi. Inside the house, I hope to find matches for the contestants...The contestants can Love me! Can Hate me! But can't Ignore me! Stay Tuned to watch my Over The Top matching skills."
For the unversed, Sima's show Indian Matchmaking bagged an Emmy Awards nomination in the Unstructured Reality Program category.
