Bigg Boss 13 contestant Devoleena Bhattacharjee will be joining the ongoing 14th season of the reality show. She was supposedly joining the show as Vikas Gupta’s proxy as he had to quit the show due to health woes. However, a leading daily has now reported that there is a twist in the tale. The daily reported that Devoleena will now be a stand-in not for Vikas but for Eijaz Khan who is one of the strongest contestants on the show. The Instagram handle Mr.Khabri also reported about Eijaz quitting the show.
Apparently, Eijaz has some prior commitments which is why the makers of the reality show have roped in Devoleena as his replacement. Reportedly, Eijaz will not be returning as a contestant on Bigg Boss 14 post his exit. A source told the daily, “It was believed that Devoleena would enter the BB house as Vikas Gupta’s proxy just like he did for her in the previous season. However, we have now learnt that she will be filling in for Eijaz Khan. The latter has had to bow out of the show owing to his work commitments. He had allotted dates to another project and will have to exit the reality show. While we are hoping for him to return to the show at a later stage, chances of that happening seem bleak at this point.”

Reportedly, Devoleena is currently quarantining in a hotel and is expected to enter the Bigg Boss 14 house in the next couple of days. She will first stay in the secret room to complete her mandatory quarantine period. In the secret room, she will get to see the antics of other contestants while they remain unaware of her presence.
