Salman Khan's controversial reality show Bigg Boss 14 started with a bang on October 3 with its premiere episode. Last night, the fifth episode of the housemates aired and it would not be wrong to say that it was an exciting one. This season's 11 contestants are Eijaz Khan, Nikki Tamboli, Rubina Dilaik, Abhinav Shukla, Jasmin Bhasin, Nishant Singh Malkani, Shehzad Deol, Sara Gurpal, Jaan Kumar Sanu, Pavitra Punia and Rahul Vaidya. However, out of them, Rubina, Nishant, Sara and Jaan were rejected by toofani seniors Hina Khan, Sidharth Shukla and Gauahar Khan.
Day 5 of BB was all about BB girls impressing Sidharth to get immunity and several fights between the housemates due to house duties. While Rubina sacrificed her immunity to get accepted inside the house, Sidharth gave immunity to Nikki.
Here are the top 10 highlights from the Day 5 of Bigg Boss 14:
- The episode started with girls trying to impress Sidharth in the immunity task. In the motor car round, Pavitra and Nikki managed to grab eyeballs with their sensual dance with Sidharth.

- In the last round of the task, an ugly fight took place between Shehzaad and Nikki as he spoilt her task. Later, to take revenge, Nikki spoilt Pavitra's and Jasmin's tasks too. This made every housemate angry and Sidharth said that the task is over from his end.
- Bigg Boss then asked Sidharth who the winner was according to him and he chose Nikki because she faced unfair behavior from Shehzad. Nikki broke down after getting immunity and thanked Sid.
- Later, Sidharth picked an ugly fight with Shehzad as he told him that he disrespects girls despite saying that he would never do that while entering the house. To this, Shehzad replies saying that Nikki provokes him but even then he has never said anything wrong to her. Hina comes in support of Shehzad and tells Sid to calm down.

- In the kitchen, Rahul picked a fight with Jaan when he was eating parantha and chutney. Rahul then locked horns with Nishant who kept insisting that everyone should take chutney keeping in mind other contestants as well.
- Finding an isolated location in the garden area, Eijaz talked to the camera and said, “Traditionally, ek gender ko torture kiya gaya hai aur unko protect karne ke liye kuch laws hain but I now understand that gender can also misuse the laws. Aurat creator hai, mard catatayst hai and I understand that because my mom is no more. I think I have been used, meri acchai ka fayda uthaya jaa raha hai. I was not showing ego (When fighting the previous day). i will explain later. I believe aurat hum se badi hoti hai, shayad mai zarurat se jada karne jata hu aur sabko galatfehmi ho jati hai.” Eijaz broke down and kept wiping his tears as he spoke.
- Rubina and Jasmin broke down as they complained of not getting even their basic personal stuff like their skincare products. Rubina said that Bigg Boss was trying to break their spirit and break them emotionally. Gauahar explained to them that this is what the BB game is all about.
- Later, seniors Gauahar, Hina and Sidharth discussed how Rubina and Jasmin were not being sports and playing the game. Gauahar then told them that she tried to explain to the two indirectly but they still kept cribbing.
- Bigg Boss then called everyone to the living room and criticized Rubina and Jasmin for blaming Bigg Boss for not getting them cosmetics and skincare. Rubina requested some comfort for her sleep while Jasmin said she got emotional and will keep doing it and Bigg Boss should not mind.
- Bigg Boss then offered Rubina an opportunity to enter the house as an accepted contestant but give up her chance to win immunity for this particular week. Rubina was quick enough to select her entry inside the house as she wanted to be physically strong first.
- Towards the end of the episode, Pavitra picked a fight with Rahul for not cleaning the bathroom properly as he was the person in charge of the bathroom. Rahul snapped at her and criticized the taste of the food that Pavitra has been cooking. Pavitra then accused Rahul of flirting with women on Instagram by messaging them continuously.
