PeepingMoon.com, exclusively on September 12, 2020, informed its readers that Sidharth Shukla will be joining Salman Khan in Bigg Boss 14. However, not as a participant, the season 13 winner will be hosting a special segment to monitor the performance of the contestants and give his feedback. Now, as Bigg Boss 14 is a few weeks away, Sidharth reportedly shot for a promo at a city studio on Thursday. 

On Thursday, pictures of the popular television actor went viral on his fan pages. Dressed in a black shirt and black pants, Sidharth looked dapper. The Bigg Boss 13 winner resumed work after six months of lockdown. He was snapped outside his vanity van.

According to Bigg Boss_Tak, a Twitter account that keeps fans of Bigg Boss abreast of the latest happenings, the promo for which Sidharth shot, revolves around the game of chess. Reportedly, former popular Bigg Boss contestants like Hina Khan, Gauahar Khan and Monalisa were also present for the shoot. In a video on Bigg Boss_Tak's Twitter account, we can see a chessboard placed in the centre.

Sidharth Shukla, Hina Khan, Gauahar Khan & Monalisa were part of that shoot. A square Chess board on which chess pawns are placed setup was madeup at set.

Sidharth will reportedly be joined by his Bigg Boss 13 co-inmate Shehnaaz Kaur Gill for the premiere episode on October 3, 2020. Shehnaaz is reportedly the first special guest to enter the Bigg Boss 14 house. PeepingMoon.com, exclusively on Thursday, shared the list of contestants with their readers. The confirmed celebrities are Aalisha Panwar, Nalini Negi, Shagun Pandey, Nishant Singh Malkani, Naina Singh, Pavitra Punia, Jaan Kumar Sanu, Eijaz Khan and Sara Gurpal. The makers are in the last stage of negotiations with Neha Sharma, said PeepingMoon sources.
