In the latest episode of Salman Khan’s controversial reality show Bigg Boss 13 the contestants woke up to the song Main Naagin that gave an indication of things to come. The episode began with Shehnaaz Gill trying to wake up Sidharth Shukla by applying makeup on his face, but as soon as she tried to apply lipstick on him he awoke with a start. Sidharth had a piece of advice for Shehnaaz Gill and told her to pick her friends carefully in the house.
Then Bigg Boss announced the next task that took everyone by surprise. The task would enable a nominated contestant to switch places with a safe contestant on the show if he or she wins the task. The task was a twisted version of the popular snake-and-ladder game. The safe contestants were made into snakes and the nominated contestants were supposed to climb ladders to reach safety from nominations. Arti and Asim who are safe contestants were selected as snakes.

Sidharth and Arti got into a fight while discussing their strategy as Arti felt that Sidharth never listens to her whereas he felt that she has been acting way too smart after being saved from nominations. In the task, the contestants were given a plank of wood symbolizing the ladder with their face on it ad had to build a ladder with clay. The rules stated that once the dice roll is heard, the contestant whose ladder is tallest will get a chance to roll the dice and move their pawn ahead in the game.
The contestant whose pawn reaches closest to the 50th block will get a chance to switch places with the safe contestant. However, the safe contestant as snakes can break the ladder of other contestants sending them back to the starting position when the hiss buzzer sounded.

However, as usual, this task also had its fair share of fights and verbal arguments. Things got ugly when Paras and Siddharth Shukla destroyed opponent team members' ladders. Shehnaaz called Mahira ‘chudail’ and destroyed her ladder. Sidharth Shukla got aggressive and pushed Mahira to mess up her ladder. Mahira in turn, shouted at Shehnaaz for justifying Sidharth’s act. Sidharth Shukla called Siddharth Dey a “macchchar” who called him a “105kg ka bhalu” in return. Paras left the task midway citing violence as the reason and everyone accused Sidharth Shukla of getting physically violent during the task.
When Sidharth targeted Devoleena, she tried destroying Shehnaaz’s ladder. They got into an ugly fight during which the housemates claimed that Devoleena slapped Shehnaaz. When Shehnaz was asked about it, she said she didn't notice as she was only thinking about fighting with Devoleena that time. Rashami and Sidharth had a showdown once again. Devoleena and she stood in Sidharth’s way when he tried to destroy Mahira’s ladder. Rashami accused him of getting physically violent and aggressive. The chaos that ensued prompted Bigg Boss to halt the task till further orders.
Siddharth Dey and Paras were seen discussing Sidharth SHukla’s behaviour and called him a psycho.
