The most controversial reality show, Bigg Boss is all set to return with its 12th season. Apparently, the makers of the Salman Khan hosted show were keen on roping in celebrity couples as contestants; however, some extreme changes had to be made to the format at the last moment since they could not find suitable celebrity pairs for the show. Now we hear that Sasural Simar Ka actress Dipika Kakar Ibrahim and television actor Karanvir Bohra will be entering the house but without their respective spouses.
A source close to the development revealed to a leading daily, “The makers were looking for a casting coup, getting Dipika and Shoaib on board, but the latter turned down the offer. Now, Dipika will partner someone else.” The report further suggested that Dipika might join actor Karanvir Bohra, who was last seen on the small screen in Naagin 2.
Interestingly, both actors are participating in the show without their partners. While Dipika's husband Shoaib will give the show a miss, Karanvir's wife Teejay Sidhu couldn’t be a part of the show together because of their twin girls Raya Bella and Vienna. However, Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa are expected to be in the house together.
Meanwhile, the BB team is leaving no stone unturned in making the upcoming season more exciting than the previous ones. Host Salman recently launched the new season of the show by hosting a press conference in Goa. Bigg Boss 12 will have its grand premiere on September 16, 2018, and will once again take the late-night slot of 10:30 pm on weekdays.
