Bigg Boss 11 was one of the most watched shows of last year and was avidly followed by fans and public alike. The reality show gave a huge boost of popularity to the stars who are losing their shine and also gives a platform to budding actors/models and commoners to gain a foothold in the glamour industry. Shilpa Shinde, the Bigg Boss 11 winner was embroiled in an ugly controversy which threatened to put a halt to her career but after winning the show she is back in the limelight. Now, the twelfth season of Bigg Boss has been announced by the channel but this time around the contestants will have to audition in jodis (with a partner).

The channel took to Twitter to share the announcement and the good news about the new season. The channel’s official handle tweeted, “#BiggBoss12 is coming soon and this time we’re looking for jodis! So bring a partner along with you to the @BiggBoss house for twice the dhamaal! Auditions now open! #RisingStar2GrandFinale.”

The auditions for the new season of the show is now open and if you are keen on trying your hand at living cut-off from the rest of the world in isolation with a group of people then go grab a partner and get to the audition super-quick. Bigg Boss generally start in October but the channel has not confirmed when would this year’s start.
The channel has not disclosed whether they are bringing in a new host for the show or Salman Khan will continue anchoring in lieu of him being convicted in the blackbuck poaching case. Salman Khan was convicted in the blackbuck poaching case and has been sentenced to 5 years jail term by Jodhpur Court.
Salman is out on bail but is barred from travelling outside the country due to which the foreign shooting schedule of his forthcoming movie Race 3 were cancelled and now will be happening in Leh and Ladakh. Along with Salman Khan, Race 3 also stars Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Saqib Saleem, Daisy Shah and Freddy Daruwala and is scheduled to release on June 15, 2018.
