This video of Manushi Chhillar from her medical college days is going viral!

Two years ago, she was just a young 18-year-old student. Simple, even nerdy, but also triumphant as she cleared the All India Pre-Medical test (AIPMT), one of toughest entrance tests to crack, in her very first attempt, and scoring well at that! Winning has been something of a habit for the gorgeous Haryana lass Manushi Chhillar, who has made India proud on the international stage with her glorious Miss World win.

Unknown details continue to surface about this refreshingly down-to-earth beauty. Such as, that she had also topped the CBSE English examination in grade XII with an overall score of 96 percent. Belonging to Bamnoli village in Haryana’s Jhajjar district, she was pursuing her MBBS at Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women, Khanpur Kalan, in Sonepat…till she decided to take a year off from college to pursue her dreams of representing India on an international platform.

Now a video has been unearthed from 2015, which shows her narrating how she cleared AIPMT in 2015. A bespectacled teen sporting a white coat, she speaks sincerely about the faculty who helped her clear all her concepts in the various subjects - especially Physics, her weak point! - and enabled her to score well, despite not being “one of the students who studies for 12 hours a day!”

Today, she is no less of a role model to all those students with a dream in their eye and the drive to go the extra mile.

It is equally heartening to note that besides excelling all through her academic life, Manushi remained active in co-curricular activities as well. A trained Indian classical dancer, poet and painter, she had performed a dance to a Bollywood number during the talent round at Miss India, while also bagging the ‘Head to Head’ challenge and the ‘Beauty With A Purpose’ segment at the Miss World contest.

Whether or not she pursues her aspiration of becoming a cardiac surgeon, it is pretty much mission accomplished anyway. After all, it’s all about winning hearts at the end of the day!
