'Captain Vikram Batra's family trusted us with his story for Shershaah, reviews coming from them and the Indian Army are most important,' say Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani

‘Shershaah’ Sidharth Malhotra, ‘Dimple’ Kiara Advani and director Vishu Varadhan take PeepingMoon through the recreation of the 1999 Kargil War of their upcoming film releasing 3 days before Independence Day. Telling the story of a real-life hero on celluloid, the trio highlighted the challenges of shooting on outdoor locations, battling extreme weather conditions and staying true to the emotions, facts and feelings despite taking creative liberty. Furthermore, Sidharth, Kiara and Vishnu state that the only review that matters to them will be from Captain Batra’s family and the Indian Army.
