Janhvi Kapoor has got a twinkle in her eyes like her mother late Sridevi- Angad Bedi on his Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl co-star

Sharan Sharma's directorial debut Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl has finally premiered on Netflix today at 2.45 pm. Featuring Janhvi Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Angad Bedi, Ayesha Raza Mishra, Manav Vij and Viineet Kumar, the biographical film based on the life of the first Indian female airforce pilot in combat Gunjan Saxena opened to rave reviews. While Janhvi is being appreciated for her brilliant performance, Angad is lauded for his role as Gunjan's brother Anshuman Saxena. As Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl released today, Angad, in an exclusive interview with PeepingMoon.com, shared his opinion regarding the flak the film received on social media.

Angad, who has never shied away from speaking for the right, said that Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl is a collective effort. Calling social media a beautiful place, the actor asked why does anyone need to fill it with negativity. Angad went on to say that the audience has the right to judge the film, the performances etc but urged to not judge the person.

Speaking of his bond with Janhvi, Angad said she would come home to play with his daughter Mehr and spend time with his wife, actress Neha Dhupia. Saying that the 23-year-old has a twinkle in her eyes like her late mother Sridevi, Angad went on to appreciate his onscreen sister's performance.
