Manish Malhotra turned 51 last night and hosted a cozy dinner at his residence. His close friends Karan Johar, Sonakshi Sinha, Raveena Tandon with hubby Anil Thadani, Aditi Rao Hydari, Natasha Poonawala, Kaykasshana Patel, Sophie Choudry and Sheetal Mafatlal surprised the designer, bringing in flowers and gifts and cake, who otherwise opted to have a low key celebration this year.

Manish's BFF Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor chose to skip the celebrations due to the demise of their grand uncle, Shashi Kapoor.
