Priyanka Chopra Jonas adds yet another feather to her cap, becomes the first Indian actress to feature on 'Behind The Tweets' video series

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is a bona fide global star. She, not just left an impact in Bollywood but made an indelible mark in Hollywood shows and films rightfully. Now, as the actress is gearing up for the release of her Hindi film comeback titled The Sky Is Pink, she ticked off yet another milestone by becoming the first Indian actress to feature on Twitter's #BehindTheTweets video series segment. The actress joined the likes of Blake Lively, Jonas Brothers and Cole Sprouse amongst others who went behind the tweets to share the anecdotes. For the unversed, #BehindTheTweets is an interesting segment where celebrities unveil secrets and talk about their most controversial tweets.

Twitter Movies, on Monday, shared Priyanka's first #BehindTheTweets clip, where she revealed the meaning and stories behind her previous controversial and interesting tweets. "The incomparable @priyankachopra takes us #BehindTheTweets to talk about her signature one-liners, married life with @nickjonas , and her new film #TheSkyIsPink," Twitter Movies wrote while sharing the first clip. If reports are to be believed, the second clip will be out soon.

Priyanka, during an interview with a media agency for the segment, told that the series was fun and ensured to keep doing it every couple of years to relive enjoyable moments. “I’ve used Twitter for quite some time now and it was so much fun to revisit my older tweets and remember the stories behind them with #BehindTheTweets. I think I’m going to do this every couple of years just to relive some of the fun, crazy moments in my life, much like I’ve been doing during promotions for my current film, The Sky is Pink. It’s like a timeline of your thoughts and emotions,” Priyanka told.

Speaking of the film, The Sky Is Pink, it is based on the late motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary, who breathed her last in 2015 after suffering from pulmonary fibrosis, a respiratory disorder in which scars are formed in the lung tissues. Zaira Wasim plays the role of Aisha while Priyanka and Farhan Akhtar are Aditi and Niren Chaudhary respectively. The film is directed by Shonali Bose and bankrolled by Roy Kapur Film, in association with S K Global and Priyanka's production house Purple Pebble Pictures. It is scheduled to release on October 11, 2019.
