Saif Ali Khan recently wrapped up the shoot of his film Jawaani Jaaneman in London and after celebrating his birthday there on August 16, he returned to Mumbai on August 21 with wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and son Taimur Ali Khan. His fans were certainly delighted to see him back in the bay as the actor was away for quite a long time. However, the following day itself, Saif jetted off to the US and as per a leading daily, the actor has embarked on a unique tour. Apparently, Saif is conducting talk shows in different cities of America, where he is interacting with his fans on a personal level and talking about his work and life experiences. He has reportedly already visited San Jose, Seattle and Dallas and his next chat show will be in Houston on August 30 followed by Atlanta on 31st and New Jersey on September 1.
Confirming the news, Saif told the daily, “It is a kind of ‘TED Talk’. It’s a chance to interact with fans abroad intimately. To chat with them about personal things and professional. The audience should enjoy a different kind of interaction. It’s not performing as much as a glimpse into the real person, to laugh together and connect. I feel much closer to the people I have spoken to. It’s a great type of promotion for the work we do."
Well, that is certainly interesting!
On the work front, Saif has got rave reviews for his act as cop Sartaj Singh in Netflix's Sacred Games 2, a web series based on Vikram Chandra’s book of the same name. He will also be seen in Laal Kaptaan as a Naga Sadhu apart from Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior and Bhoot Police.
